Martin (Tins) Cherry, Art Director

Martin Cherry Tins has worked within B2B publishing for 37 years. Joining Morgan-Grampian in 1972 he was soon responsible for the design of all marketing material for the group and heavily involved in magazine design. He ran his own business for two years and was then tempted by Bob Findlay to join his team to run his studio, designing and launching such titles as Eureka and European Automotive Design.

An exhibitionist he has been heavily involved in the company’s events and exhibitions working with clients at events such as the Computers in Manufacturing show, Tooling and more recently the Best Factory Awards.

Tins spends his leisure time either with a camera or on a kayak or making Ed’s life even more miserable as he is a Man Utd fan.

Paul Creber, Database Operations Manager

Paul Creber Paul started out in 1983 when publishers first started converting their circulation lists onto computerised databases. Believing that computerisation might actually have a future, for 4 years he worked his way up through Miller Freeman, before leaving to set up his own database system and team for Dewberry Publications. Following this successful venture, and recognising that Findlay possessed the finest UK manufacturing database, he joined us in 1987. Since then, his focus has been developing the central database using telephone research techniques and marketing it to client’s specific requirements. His roles have included, heading the operations unit for delivering the direct marketing business, developing and implementing new technology and data to service our directories and websites and more recently heading up Benchmark, our market research company.

After piloting the introduction of ABC Profile audits prior to launch, he is now responsible for all our Events marketing data.

Paul is an avid Arsenal fan, so spends much of his time enjoying Ed’s misery.
