Eureka magazine, the market leading publication for the UK's engineering designers, held its second motion control & automation design day on the 13th May at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham.

The event, which was sponsored by Festo, Aerotech and Micro-Epsilon, was a great success with over 70 design engineers over the two days taking part in practical hands on workshops and a series of case study based presentations.

Findlay Media Executive Director, Ed Tranter, said: "The aim of these design days is to provide design engineers with a hands on opportunity to see the latest developments and be able to apply them in the work that they are doing now. Such has been the demand from engineers that we aim to increase the breadth of subjects covered within the series from 2010 including motion control, plastics, joining technologies, fluid power, machine safety and more."
